In the minutes between everything, I have managed to add more useless tips to what is fast becoming a global phenomenon in travel writing. Take that as you will but keep an eye on IVEBEENTHERE for many great things.
Mostly though, I have been yearning for the sweet writings of my sucrose enriched friend, the Binsey Blogger and had to get the rush from his travel writing.
But where have all the sweet things gone? Have your teeth fallen out?
It was a good introduction to 2007, taking a present of shop bought, factory packed caramel shortbread stuff to the manic sweet-toothed killer known as the Binsey Blogger with whom I sat, crouched around the burning log, and discussed the joys of fishcakes and fizzy wine. Now I’m back on the train, travelling to work in peaks and troughs. The magic of the holiday is still with me though, surprising though it is to admit. 2007 is a little bit special I think.
